The BEST (no sugar added) Cranberry Sauce Recipe Ever!

PM’s BEST (no sugar added) Cranberry Sauce Recipe EVER!

I am soooo excited to share this recipe for two reasons: A). I have been trying to make cranberry sauce without refined sugar, honey, maple syrup, agave, brown rice syrup or artificial sweeteners for years! and B). I figured it out just in time to reach you all before Thanksgiving!!!

So here goes!

Pump Mama’s/Leez Best Cranberry Sauce Recipe EVER!

1 package cranberries
1.5 – 1.75 cups water
1 cinnamon stick
1/4 cup raisins (not packed)
(1) 8 oz package of dried figs
2 oranges
2 – 3 tablespoons chopped/diced fresh ginger

A). Place everything but the oranges and figs into a pot.
B). Stem and quarter the figs. Add to pot.
C). Quarter the oranges, cutting off the white sectional part. Remove the seeds if there are any.
D). Squeeze the juice of each orange quarter into the pot. Then add as much of the pulp as possible (if desired) into the pot.
E). Stem and quarter all of the figs. Add them to the pot.
F). Put the pot on the stove at medium heat. Stir thoroughly, leaving the cranberries on top. Cover.
G). Set the timer for five minutes. When it goes off, stir thoroughly to avoid possibly burning the bottom of the pot.
H). For about 20 minutes, cover, stir, and check in on the pot every five minutes — or more frequently, if desired.
I).  Put cranberry sauce into the desired serving dish. Set aside and cool. Then place in refrigerator to chill, if desired.

Enjoy!
